I have to praise something myself: I'm at the end of January with the construction of the 2011er racing bike ready ... This first there is a parts list:

This year has been exchanged significantly fewer parts and the bike was basically as in the previous year. The Bontrager XX-Lite bottle cages were exchanged for the lighter XXX-Lite version, which is basically the second biggest change from the previous year. The largest new investment was the crank:

The Sram XX-crank, which has since replaced the defective Aerozine, an FSA K-Force Light more with 42/29 chainrings and a

XTR bottom bracket (Unfortunately, fits the dreamlike reset GXP-bearing so only Sram and Truvativ). To crank it visually adjust the frame was sanded off course and "naked" behind. In addition to weight savings, it has a positive visual side effect, for a colored crank would look at the bike simply out of place.

changes on my rear wheel still tuned Sram X.0 derailleur gears. In contrast to the previous year, the Carbon bolts were replaced as a precaution and the pulleys were changed. Here I have used as an extra idler pulley Lite role and as a xx-Light-Bikes role.

The xx-light-Bikes My role was as a guide roller bit too soft, so I have taken the extra weight of the extra-Lite role in purchase in order to have a slightly crisper shifting behavior.

The cockpit remains largely unchanged, only the handles were re-exchanged for the best Ritchey WCS.

Nothing that I would have been unhappy with the grips HiTemp, but the Ritchey parts grab my opinion, just a little bit better.

stayed with the quick release I AX-Lightness MTB clamps true, thanks to their attack and the massive lever operate quite useful

and wearing gloves are good. Formula R1 is the best lightweight brake that I'm so far down. Absolutely careless and vicious. In terms of metering the R1 in my opinion is not quite as good-natured and sometimes quite digital - as they say so much. Good for me but the very good and I'm all season have been very satisfied.

Last but not least even the Eggbeater "4Ti2Al with aluminum sleeve and titanium springs.


Due to the slightly heavier tires compared to 2010, I lie on the End but still just over 7.500g, but you need also still targets for 2012) without sacrificing performance or durability, but is simply not much without investing a fortune.
